-Aaron Rodgers has been declared out. A lot of conversation, but as an organization we feel like we’re not ready for him to play.
-He’s not medically cleared. That’s still the case today.
-I thought Aaron Rodgers did everything you could possibly do. He’s attacked the rehab, done more in the weight room and did a lot in practice. Organizational decision, conversation evolved.
-We have two different circumstances – we have Aaron Rodgers’ health and the good of the organization.
-As an organization, we’re not ready for Aaron to play. I’m not going to get into if and buts.
-Aaron Rodgers understands where we are. Everything has been explained. He obviously wants to play. The kid has played with injuries. He’s a tough guy. He’s done everything he possibly could to get back onto the field.
-We feel we can beat Pittsburgh with our football team. We came in on Monday preparing to beat Pittsburgh with Matt Flynn as our quarterback. We’re confident in our opportunity against a good football team.
-You want to start every game fast obviously. We have a plan to start game on offense.
-Aaron clearly wants to play. He’s a very competitive man. He’s done everything he possibly can from his end of it.
-I thought C.J. Wilson got stronger as week went on, which is good given how long he’s been out.
-We’ll have a game-management meeting at 1:15, but I felt Randall Cobb made progress this week.
-Brandon Bostick’s injury is season-ending. He’ll have surgery I’m not exactly sure when.
