Only 5 inactive for Steelers game

Dec. 22, 2013

There were no surprises on the Green Bay Packersí inactive list on Sunday, partly because there were only five after they reduced their roster to 51 by putting Brandon Bostick and Johnny Jolly on the injured reserve list on Saturday.

Inactive were quarterback Aaron Rodgers, linebacker Nate Palmer, offensive lineman Lane Taylor, offensive lineman JC Tretter and defensive end Jerel Worthy.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, inactive were quarterback Landry Jones, wide receiver Derek Moye, cornerback Isaiah Green, linebacker Jamaal Westerman, offensive lineman David Snow, defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo and linebacker Jarvis Jones. Jarvis Jones came down with the flu on Saturday. Chris Carter was to replace him in the starting lineup.

For Green Bay, Mike Daniels was to start in place of Jolly.

Captains for the Packers were Jarrett Boykin, Sam Shields and John Kuhn.
