The De Pere High School wrestling team is just that this season - a team.

In years past, the Redbirds have struggled to come together as a single unit. Thanks to some solid senior leadership this year, however, the wrestlers have bonded and are focused on pushing one another to have a strong season.

"I really like how the team has bonded with one another. They're showing a lot of team camaraderie," said Chuck Tripp, De Pere's 11th-year head coach. "I think the upperclassmen, they've really spearheaded that this year (and) pulled kids together." ...
