Christmas was brighter for four Oconto families assisted by Oconto Police officers in the "Shop with a Cop" program.

"This was such an incredible event officers and kids had an awesome time," said Oconto Police Chief Dan Ault. "Next year our goal is to double the effort as it is times like this that made us all realize how worthwhile this journey is."

One child from each of the four families was picked up in a police car and driven to ShopKo, where gifts were purchased for everyone in their household. ...
