School Board president to not seek re-election

Stevens Point Area Public School Board President Terry Rothmann will not seek re-election this spring, meaning the board will find itself with its fourth president in as many years in 2014.

Rothmann was the lone incumbent to file noncandidacy paperwork by Friday's deadline. Current board members Christina Scott, Bob Larson, and Jeff Presley also are up for re-election. Two other candidates, Sam Levin and Alex Kochanowski, have filed paperwork to run for School Board in the April 1 election.
