Family Fun Fest gets boost from staff returning home

It wasn't hard to tell Brittany Mazemke was into the holiday spirit on Saturday, from socks with candy cane designs to her red striped skirt and dangling earrings with bells on them.

Mazemke was working at the Family Fun Fest, held Saturday at the Iola-Scandinavia Community Fitness and Aquatic Center, working the ring and ball toss games for children. The family event featured several fun activities, including an obstacle course, bounce house, jousting game, face painting and an open pool.
