The Green Bay Packers still don't have a timeline for Clay Matthews, but a return any sooner than the Super Bowl appears highly unlikely.

Matthews didn't travel with the team to Chicago in Sunday's 33-28 triumph over the Bears and hasn't been around the facilities since recently undergoing surgery for a re-broken right thumb.

The first break required surgery for a Bennett's fracture and required having pins inserted in the thumb to set it for healing. He returned 35 days after the injury against Philadelphia, but was forced to wear a lumbering club on his right hand, which limited his impact. ...
