McAdoo to interview for Giants coordinator job

Jan. 9, 2014

Ben McAdoo is scheduled to interview for the New York Giants’ offensive coordinator position this weekend, according to a report on NJ.com.

McAdoo, the Packers’ quarterbacks coach, already interviewed on Wednesday for the Cleveland Browns’ head coaching position. He could be a candidate for other offensive coordinator jobs, including Miami, where former Packers assistant Joe Philbin is coach.

The Giants are looking to replace Kevin Gilbride, who retired this offseason. The Giants already have interviewed at least two candidates, Mike Sullivan and Dowell Loggains, both of whom were offensive coordinators last season.

Sullivan is a former Giants assistant who was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff that was fired this offseason. Loggains was on the Tennessee Titans staff that was fired earlier this week.
