The Green Bay Packers weren't interested in a Matt Flynn reunion when the topic was broached Oct. 6.

Shortly after the Oakland Raiders released the 28-year-old veteran quarterback, Packers coach Mike McCarthy stepped to the podium inside Lambeau Field and reinforced the organization's commitment to Seneca Wallace as their backup.

And why not? Aaron Rodgers was healthy, Wallace was a month into picking up the playbook and all seemed settled in what had been a revolving quarterbacks room during the preseason. ...
