McAdoo interview with Giants postponed to today

Jan. 13, 2014

Ben McAdoo’s interview for the vacant offensive coordinator job with the New York Giants was postponed until Monday because of travel delays caused by bad weather.

The Green Bay Packers’ quarterbacks coach was scheduled to interview with the Giants on Saturday, but the Newark Star-Ledger reported that McAdoo’s interview has been moved to Monday.

McAdoo will be the fourth person to interview for the job. The others are Mike Sullivan, a former Giants assistant who was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offensive coordinator last season; Dowell Loggains, who was the Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator last season; and Karl Dorrell, the Houston Texans' former quarterbacks coach.

The Star-Ledger reported that the Giants also might have interest in New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, who doesn’t call plays because coach Sean Payton handles those duties.
