The Green Bay Packers need a new quarterbacks coach, though they have a top candidate in-house.

The New York Giants announced Tuesday that they hired Ben McAdoo as their new offensive coordinator, which opens the Packers' quarterbacks coaching position that McAdoo has held the past two seasons.

A strong candidate to replace him is Alex Van Pelt, the Packers' running backs coach the past two seasons. Van Pelt played quarterback for the Buffalo Bills from 1995 through 2003, and coached the position for the Bills in 2008-09 (in '09 he also was offensive coordinator) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in ...
