It takes a lot to get Mason Crosby upset, but even the mild-mannered Green Bay Packers place-kicker was hot under the collar last August.

Crosby seemingly had won a training camp kicking duel against Giorgio Tavecchio when the Packers surprised him by signing free agent Zach Ramirez.

After bouncing back from a disastrous 3-for-8 performance at the Family Night scrimmage, Crosby was forced to prove himself all over again in what amounted to a two-day kicking competition against Ramirez prior to the Packers' final exhibition game. ...
