The 1,000-yard trio never materialized. Not that you can fault Randall Cobb or James Jones for the Green Bay Packers' receivers falling short on their bold preseason prophecy.

Injuries happen. In Green Bay, they seem to happen a lot. Throw in Cobb's broken tibia, Jones' nagging knee injury and Aaron Rodgers' fractured collarbone, and any chance was ruined for the veteran receivers and Jordy Nelson to all surpass the 1,000-yard mark in the same season.
