Packers raise ticket prices for 5th straight year

The Green Bay Packers are raising ticket prices again, keeping the team in its preferred spot near the league average.

Prices will increase $3 per seat for the 2014 National Football League season. The Packers estimate that will rank them 17th in the 32-team NFL. It's the fifth consecutive year they've raised prices.

"Our goal for ticket pricing is to be just below the league average," team president and CEO Mark Murphy said in a brochure sent this week with invoices to season-ticket holders. ...
