Fish Creek: Dragon art and My Y Week

I stopped in at the Peninsula School of Art this week just after the soup event with grandchildren in tow to see the dragon that was constructed at the family day activities. The dragon is beautiful, and her tail is draped halfway around the room on the balcony in the Guenzel Gallery.

The head itself is beautiful with a multicolored head and a golden tongue or fire draped out of her mouth. Stop in to see the dragon and check the progress of the winter project. Just starting, the "We Love Art" project is beginning with area schools and will be added to as winter progresses.
