Clippers' Hubbard wins conference title in 200 IM

Kyle Hubbard won the 200-yard individual medley to lead Sturgeon Bay/Southern Door/Sevastopol at the Eastern Wisconsin Conference high school boys swimming championships Saturday in Kiel.

Hubbard won the race by three seconds with a season-best time of 2 minutes, 15.82 seconds. Kiel's Noah Draxler placed second (2:18.76), and the Clippers' Will Hartman finished third (2:21.10).

Hubbard also placed third in the 100 butterfly (1:00.74), and the Clippers finished third in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays. Doug Foss, Creston ...
