Students will be in class a day longer this summer to make up for school closings due to extremely cold weather.

The last day of school now will be June 12, according to the Pulaski School District's Facebook page.

Schools throughout the area were closed Jan. 6-8 and Jan. 28 because of sub-zero temperatures. Most districts used up built-in snow days and have added makeup days.
