Bail set for driver in unusual Manitowoc crash

Bail was set on Monday for a 20-year-old Manitowoc man who allegedly drove with a bicyclist in his windshield after hitting him in a car-bike crash on Jan. 18.

Jamie Hang made his initial appearance in front of Manitowoc County Circuit Judge Gary Bendix.

Bail was set at $5,000 recognizance bond with the conditions that Hang have no contact with victim Steven Gove, 56, of Manitowoc. He also was ordered to maintain absolute sobriety and refrain from driving without a valid driver's license. ...
