Fast start leads Vikings over Pioneers

Gibraltar got off to a fast start and went on to beat Sevastopol, 61-15, in a Packerland Conference high school girls basketball game Tuesday night in Fish Creek.

The Vikings led, 21-3, after one quarter and 40-5 at halftime.

"We were playing good defense," Gibraltar coach Josh Kropuenske said. "We did a nice job covering up their shooters, getting turnovers, getting fast breaks. We shot the ball well in the first half." ...
