Sturgeon Bay was determined not to let this one get away.

After blowing a big lead in their first meeting earlier this season, the Clippers came through in the clutch Tuesday night and beat the Southern Door Eagles, 50-41, in a Packerland Conference high school girls basketball game at Southern Door.

"I think the girls knew that they could beat them, because they were ahead by so much in that first game," said Clippers coach Jim Jacobson. "This time, we finished very well. You could kinda sense that once we got the lead in the fourth quarter, we were going to keep it." ...
