Grab your sweetheart and get your tickets to a fabulous show - a Pulitzer Prize and Tony award-winning Broadway musical right in downtown Fond du Lac!
Bekki Fishelson Kuber, current president of FDLCT, and show director, could not resist the challenge of putting on this show.
"The plot, combined with music is not only incredibly educational, it's also a great story," says Kuber. "The music itself is some of the best composing in a musical that I've ever heard."
Kuber has a vast background in music and theatre and has directed several big productions including Seussical The Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, and West Side Story.
Next To Normal is by far the most difficult show she has directed.
"The acting has got to be good. There can't be any bad acting on stage hidden by large choreographed numbers and sequined costumes," says Kuber. This cast is phenomonal; "we have a lot of talent in our little town and we're showcasing it this weekend; you will not be disappointed."
Next To Normal is raw, honest and powerful. This story line will hit home with so many. The story will grip you from beginning to the end conveying real issues we all face with family, love, marriage and relationships.
The talented cast includes Stacy Hambrick, Todd Whittaker, Noah Goebel, Gabe, Bree Gens, Andy Mueller, and Lyle Goebel. Three chorus members include Hannah Holzmann, Chanel Volpel and Angie Otte.
Tickets to Next to Normal can be purchased at Wegners Office Supply and online at www.hometowntickets.com.
The show is held Thursday to Saturday, at 7:30 p.m.
