Joan Koehler is the Marshfield Public Library's Volunteer of the month.

Joan is being honored in February for all of the hours she has assisted the library with shelf reading and sorting during the past eight years. According to Mary Adler, adult services librarian, "Joan keeps the shelves in great shape!"

Joan worked for 16 years as a registered nurse in Madison, Wheeling and Milwaukee. Then she worked at the Wheeling library for 20 years (10 years in circulation and 10 years in technical services). After retirement, she volunteered at another library in Illinois. ...
