Letters to the editor: 'Stock the Shelves' aided Omro food pantry

4:58 PM, Feb. 10, 2014  |  Comments

Through efforts of the Oshkosh Northwestern, the many companies who partnered with the Northwestern and the kindness of the many subscribers who donated to this most worthy cause, our pantry was granted monies for the "Stock the Shelves" campaign.

We are grateful beyond words, and you can rest assured the monies are already being used for basic food needs for needy families in our area.

We believe we are making a difference for those who have limited budgets or issues faced by the elderly in decisions of purchasing their medications or food on their table.

We believe the stress of economic hardships are lessened with the food we provide. We could not do this without eh help of our donors; they are the heart and soul of our pantry here in Omro.

Together we can address our community needs. We thank all of you.
