There never was much question in Sam Gash's mind about whether Alex Van Pelt would someday coach in the NFL.

That was, of course, assuming Van Pelt wanted to.

"Being a quarterback they make a lot of money, so you don't necessarily have to," joked Gash, Van Pelt's teammate for two seasons with the Buffalo Bills. "But I knew he would be a great coach, without a doubt." ...
