Long before he became world famous for punching a hole in the door to get out of his locked bathroom at the Sochi Olympics, and well before he'd ever pushed a bobsled for that matter, Johnny Quinn went to training camp with the Green Bay Packers.

In January 2008, the Packers signed Quinn as a futures free agent thinking he might make their practice squad and develop into an NFL receiver.

Quinn had only average size and speed for the position - about 6-feet and 200 pounds, a 40-yard dash time in the 4.6-second range. But the Packers liked his hands and toughness, so even though he'd gone undrafted out of ...
