The Packers' most recent undersized inside linebacker didn't work out, but they figure to be looking closely in this year's draft at the University of Wisconsin's Chris Borland.

In 2011, they selected 5-foot-10 D.J. Smith in the sixth round, but after two seasons they cut him last April.

This year, inside linebacker is one of the Packers' most acute needs, and Borland is one of the players at that position even though he also measured at under 6 feet (5-113⁄8).
