CPR course for healthcare providers
Agnesian HealthCare's Journeys: a health resource center has scheduled "Healthcare Provider CPR," on Tuesday, March 4. This American Heart Association course is designed for individuals in the healthcare field and covers infant, child, adult, one-man and two-man CPR training and AED (automatic external defibrillator) training.
"Healthcare Provider CPR" is scheduled from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Agnesian HealthCare Journeys: a health resource center, 430 E. Division St., Fond du Lac. The cost is $40 per person, and includes a text book.

'CARDIO + Core' fitness, strengthen- ing classes
Join Becky Wightman, Fond du Lac Family YMCA fitness instructor, for a six-week fitness program that will help participants tighten their abdomen and buttocks, improve functional strength and help prevent injury. Get ready for high energy, interval training that will build strength and stamina. Participants will be able to run faster...play harder...stand stronger.
"CARDIO + Core" is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, March 5 to April 9 in Agnesian HealthCare's Plaza Level Conference Center, 430 E. Division St., Fond du Lac. The program cost is $60 per person. Class size is limited.
Classes includes 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of core exercises. Participation is not recommended for people with shoulder injuries or severe lower body injuries.

'Mom & Baby Club' offered March 11
Knowing what to expect from your newborn will make your first days home together a little less overwhelming. The first weeks after childbirth are a time to bond with your baby and set up a routine for caring for your baby.
Parents and their newborn (from birth to five months) are invited to participate in a free support group to share questions and concerns about issues that arise during the unpredictable weeks and months following birth, including infant care, expectations, exercise and diet, intimacy and more!
"Mom & Baby Club" is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to noon in Agnesian HealthCare's Journeys: a health resource center, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac.

Insulin pump support group March 11
Agnesian HealthCare's Diabetes Services has scheduled a support group for adults with diabetes who are using an insulin pump on Tuesday, March 11. This group meets every odd month on the second Tuesday (except for July).
Sponsored by Agnesian HealthCare, the support group helps individuals using insulin pumps and their family members/caregivers to share their experiences, make connections with other insulin pump users and get helpful tips.
Meetings are scheduled in Agnesian HealthCare's 5-West Conference Room, 430 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There is no cost for attending this support group.

Adult cancer support group March 12
Agnesian HealthCare has scheduled an open adult support group for individuals and families experiencing a cancer diagnosis from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 in Agnesian HealthCare's Journeys: a health resource center, 430 E. Division St.t, Fond du Lac. The free support group meets the second Wednesday of each month.
Sponsored by Agnesian Cancer Care services, this program is designed to help participants cope with a cancer diagnosis in an informative and supportive group setting.
Join Lisa Michels, APNP, a cancer care and women's health nurse practitioner with Agnesian HealthCare, for a discussion about cancer survivorship.
This is an open support group where all those interested may attend. Anyone can come to any of the meetings and different individuals may be present each time. There is no cost for attending the sessions.
