Eastern bluebirds soon will return to Door County, a sign that spring is on the way. In some areas, though, the returning bluebirds have a hard time finding a home.

Learn about ways to help bluebirds and build a nesting box for your own yard during the annual Building for Bluebirds workshops, with two taking place at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 8 in the Marshall Cabin at The Ridges Sanctuary. All ages are welcome, but advance registration is required.

Ridges educator Brian Forest will give a brief introduction to each workshop, including information regarding the natural history and habitat needs ...
