The regular season has come to a close for the De Pere and West De Pere high school boys basketball teams, and now the real work begins with the postseason underway.

Each team is considered to be a top contender in their respective WIAA sectional brackets to make a strong run toward the state tournament in Madison next month.

De Pere is the No. 2 seed in a Division 1 sectional. West De Pere is the No. 3 seed in its Division 2 bracket. Both teams had a bye in the first round of regional play Tuesday night and will have a semifinal games at home Friday night. ...
