Mercury Marine, a world leader in the boat motor industry, is adept at rebounding from obstacles and adapting to a changing business climate.

The Fond du Lac-based company, which is celebrating its 75th year in business, was selected Thursday as the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year in the mega category, where the state's largest corporations compete. The annual award program recognizes companies of all sizes and industries for manufacturing excellence.
