Friends meeting to feature local author

The annual meeting of the Friends of the Colby Public Library is at 6 p.m. March 10. All members are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will be held in the Colby City Hall Community Room. Lunch will be furnished by Forward Financial Bank.

At 7 p.m., after the business portion of the meeting, Marshfield author Lisa Boero will speak about writing and publishing her book "Murderers and Nerdy Girls Work Late."
