There are daily news stories about Alzheimer's, concussions or veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury.

Brain awareness week is an annual global campaign developed by The Dana Foundation, a private philanthropic organization that supports brain research, to educate about how brain research can benefit people affected by such brain issues.
