It would be easy to look at the responses from Viktor Yanukovych to the turmoil in the Ukraine and say that the ousted leader is in deep denial. According to him, the coup d'etat never happened, he's still the legitimate president of Ukraine - apparently, Parliament's vote to oust him meant nothing - and he doesn't need any military help from Russia.

But it's also easy to look at his actions and know otherwise. If he's still the leader, what's he doing taking shelter in Russia, and, according to one comedian, recreating "The Odd Couple" with another Russian asylum seeker?
