Whoops! Bomb threat message sent in error

Some Fond du Lac area residents were alarmed Friday morning when they received an automated phone message regarding a school bomb threat.

The message indicated a bomb threat had been made and students were being evacuated. Action Reporter Media was one of the recipients of the call. It wasn't clear, though, from the call what school was impacted and Fond du Lac officials indicated nothing was going on at Fond du Lac High School.

Friday afternoon, Fond du Lac School District officials issued a press release that the school's general mailbox had received a bomb threat message in error at 10:29 ...
