State wrestling notebook: Seltrecht, Costello still alive

Saturday afternoon on the Kohl Center floor, Campbellsport junior Alex Costello found himself in a familiar predicament. He was scoreless and trailing an opponent midway through the second period, just as he was in last Saturday's WIAA sectional final.

This time, it was a win-or-go-home scenario in the division 2 106-pound consolation semifinals of the WIAA State Individual Tournament.

Like he did at sectionals, Costello used the same move he did then - "The Costello Roll" - to flip Amery's Andrew Smith to his back. The referee slapped the mat for a pin shortly after, earning Costello a spot ...
