Lost ring returned to owner after police ID man who picked it up

Oshkosh Police returned a lost ring to its owner after they located a man they suspected had picked up the ring in a parking lot.

The ring's owner told police the ring was likely lost in the parking lot of the Oshkosh Target store on Sunday, Feb. 23.

Police distributed a video image of the man and were able to identify the the 60-year-old Oshkosh man who picked up the ring but did not report finding it when he went into thet store. The man turned the ring over to police after officers contacted him on Thursday.

The ring has been returned to its owner and police consider the case closed.
