Sentencing postponed for extortion suspect

Sentencing has been postponed for one of two men arrested in a four-year extortion plot that cost a Wausau-area man nearly $100,000.

Alex Santiago, 30, of Wausau and Dustin Congleton, 29, of Weston were arrested in March on charges of extortion, possession of a firearm as a felon and receiving stolen property after a 56-year-old man, who is not being named because he is the victim of a crime, told police he'd been paying hush money to the men from 2009 until early 2013, according to a police report.
