Mike McCarthy viewed the hiring of Ron Zook as the first step in rebuilding the Green Bay Packers' wayward special teams unit, but the move that follows will be every bit as important.

While McCarthy believes the former Florida and Illinois college head coach will be a perfect complement to coordinator Shawn Slocum, finding a kickoff returner in either May's NFL draft or free agency will be critical to turning around the NFL's 30th-ranked unit.
