Several special events in March will keep kids and teens coming to the T.B. Scott Free Library, 106 W. First St., Merrill.

For more information about any of these programs, call the library at 715-536-7191.

Book trailers

Students in grades six to 12 can become a part of a film production company and share some of the great books they've read. Come to a free Book Trailer Workshop from 3:15 p.m to 5 p.m. Monday, March 10, in the library board room.

Brainstorm together and use Internet and library resources to produce book trailers, commercials for books. Library laptops and snacks provided.

Spring break movie

Celebrate spring break with a free afternoon movie on Tuesday, March 18. This movie, based on the second book in Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games trilogy, is meant for students in grades six to 12.

Snacks and an active game will complete this event from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the library community room.

Spring break storytime

Celebrate spring break at a free family story time at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19. All ages are welcome.

Guest Laurie Jacoby will provide a lively, interactive program of stories and songs sure to entertain school-age children and preschoolers alike.
