In time to browse before or after Sturgeon Bay's St. Patrick's Day parade, the Friends of Door County Libraries is holding a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 15 at the library in Sturgeon Bay, 107 S. Fourth Ave. Children are encouraged to attend as there is a huge selection of used children's books in addition to vintage science fiction, books and magazines, and large-print editions.

There are also collections by authors that include W. Stegner, J. Knowles, Michener, Karon, Hiaasen, L.K. Hamilton, Miss Read, Ludlum, Steele and Christie.

People who wish to donate books to the library can bring them the day of the sale or to the library at any time.
