After this long and harsh winter, I am looking forward to getting outside, enjoying some spring scenes, and doing some walking. If you are also looking forward to these types of activities, consider a fantastic opportunity to help youth at Southern Door Schools.

This year will mark the Sourthern Door's third annual Kids for Running/Walking Program, a free community program that helps students, parents, and community members live a healthier lifestyle by exercising two days a week.

Practices will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays from March 24 through June 9. The program wraps up ...
