Candidate forum is two weeks away

A candidate forum for the Liberty Grove Town Board Supervisor race is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 22. It is being held at the Liberty Town Hall, 11161 Old Stage Road.

The is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Door County. The candidates for this position are Lou Covotsos, Gary Farber and Hugh Mulliken. You will hear from the candidates about their objectives, their experience and plans for Liberty Grove.

If you attend this forum, which is not a debate, you may bring your written questions to the meeting or write them out after you arrive. Even if your questions are not presented, you may visit with the candidates after the forum. Contact Shirley Senarighi at (920) 743-7691 if you have any questions.

Update

To those of you in our area that have asked about Frank Hough, who at one time lived in Ellison Bay, but of late in Sister Bay, he is doing well. He is in LaSada Care Center in Cedarburg and frequently asks about his Sister Bay friends.

Frank was on the Sister Bay Village Board for many years. He and his wife, who is my sister Carol, moved to Cedarburg several years ago.
