USA TODAY published an article on population growth in the Dec. 31, 2013 edition that pointed out that the baby boomer population is aging and the rate of growth in the population of the United States has stalled out.

This slowing of growth is a major factor in states like Wisconsin and is harming economic prosperity and the future of things Wisconsinites take for granted. Examples are great public schools and access to health care. Rural areas are being impacted the greatest.
