Valentyn Tereshchenko moved from Ukraine to Green Bay 13 years ago and has a young family here.

But his parents and sister - and other family and friends - remain in Ukraine, located in Eastern Europe, and he fears for their safety as Russian President Vladimir Putin directs takeover of the region. Tereshenko's parents live about 10 miles from the Russian border and have seen military movement in recent recent weeks.
