A few Sundays ago, I asked if we could print comments from our Facebook page here on the editorial page, and the response was overwhelmingly cool to the idea. As a matter of fact, you might say that cool is an exercise in understatement. Most of the comments were negative trending towards hostile. As I said in my original column, there is a sense that what happens on Facebook stays on Facebook.

This is why I asked. I could have simply assumed that the comments were made publicly on the HTR Media Facebook page and therefore fair game to republished. You regularly see media reporting on Facebook and ...
