UW-Oshkosh limits late-night events in aftermath of shooting

University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh officials have put a moratorium on late-night events on campus after a man fired a gun late Saturday evening at Reeve Memorial Union.

The moratorium will include all events that are scheduled past the hours that the particular campus building traditionally is open, and will remain in place while leaders review the university's security procedures and those for alerting students to campus safety issues, said Petra Roter, vice chancellor for student affairs.
