Wisconsin Supreme Court backs Taco Bell in lawsuit over Oshkosh roundabout

The Wisconsin Supreme Court recently ruled that the owner of the Taco Bell in Oshkosh properly appealed $38,000 in assessments levied by the city for a roundabout constructed at the intersection.

The unanimous opinion reverses appellate and circuit court decisions and finds that CED Properties LLC of Fond du Lac gave the city proper notice the entire assessment would be challenged even though the company appealed only one of two assessments the city levied against its Taco Bell property.
