Gleaming in the winter sun, a towering monument of glistening ice drapes from the edge of the colorful limestone bluff rising more than three stories tall. Hollows in the limestone form caves along the edge of the bluff, in some places completely hidden behind a thick veil of ice.

If you have been dreaming of exploring the spectacular ice caves along the Lake Superior shoreline, it may not be necessary for you to make the five or six hour drive north when there are amazing ice caves to explore right here in your own back yard.Fonferek's Glen
