Sheboygan County's first commercial winery will open to the public starting next month.

The Blind Horse Restaurant and Winery will hold a grand opening for its winery on April 25-27.

The restaurant has been open since June 2012, but plans to open the winery were delayed by more than a year as the scope of the project grew.

The winery, located at 6018 Superior Ave., will offer 17 different wines for tasting and for purchase.
