Three members of an ad hoc committee formed by the City of Oconto to work with the Oconto County on its Law Enforcement Center project are members of the small citizens group opposed its location on the block north of the Oconto County Courthouse.

Their inclusion sets the stage for potential clashes between ad hoc panel members and possibly between the committee and county officials.

The 11 members of the committee, expected to be finalized at the March 11 council meeting, also includes three alderman and five department heads. The vote to recommend them to the council was 8-2, with council ...
